- The IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) is issued 13 calendar days after the test and includes details of the your performance. The TRF is sent by regular mail, or you can arrange in advance to pick it up from the test center on the 13th day. The TRF includes several security features including a photo.
- To request additional TRFs from USA centers up to two years after results have been issued, complete the online request form.
- Additional TRFs will not be sent to candidates, but can be sent to academic institutions, government agencies, professional bodies or employers. TRFs cannot be issued from test dates more than two years old.
- If you are requesting additional TRFs more than one month after your test date, the test center may charge an administrative fee and will contact you to request this payment.
- Important information only for candidates making an application to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) at the Canadian Consulate General, Buffalo, NY, USA:
CIC prefer CIC applicants to submit their IELTS results at the same time they submit their completed CIC application packages, or after they have been assigned a file number by the Visa Office handling their case. If you are intending to submit your IELTS TRF with an application package to CIC, you should send your own original IELTS TRF with your full CIC application, making sure to retain a photocopy of the IELTS TRF for your own records. No duplicate IELTS TRF can be provided by the test center for this purpose.
If you intend to submit the IELTS TRF to CIC separately from your application package, then a CIC file number must be included. If you are requesting the test center where you took the test to send the IELTS TRF direct to CIC, please make sure that your test center candidate record has a CIC file number included. IELTS TRFs sent to the Visa Office without a Visa Office file number, or not included with a full CIC application package, cannot be matched up by the Visa Office, and will be destroyed.
- To request additional TRFs up to two years after results have been issued only from the centers listed below, download and complete this form, scan and email it - with a photocopy of the picture page of your passport attached - to esolapplicationsupport@cambridgeesol.org. Processing time after receipt is up to 10 working days and there is no charge. Additional TRFs will not be sent to candidates, but can be sent to academic institutions, government agencies, professional bodies or employers.
